Leyer wanted in on the action, so he scored a minute later to put the Saints up by four. Near the end of the period, Matthew Swanson scored to give the Bobcats life and put the score at 5-2

The madness continued in the third period with four more Saints goals! At the start of the period, Whyte got his second of the night to put the Saints up 6-2! One minute later, Matthew Swanson netted one home to bring the Bobcats within three. Soon after, Hunter Brown (Fort St.John, BC) scored mid-fall to give the Saints back their four-goal lead.
