The Saints looked to make it four wins in a row tonight against the Olds Grizzlys. Both teams’ records reflected each other before the start of the game, The Saints are 10-3-2 sitting first place in the North, while the Grizzlys own a 3-10-2 record.

Caiden Gault would be the one to open the scoring with a great move in front of the net as he scores his 14th goal of the season. Logan Acheson would then quickly follow that up with a short side snipe to put the Saints up 2-0. Hunter Brown then capitalizes on a rebound on the power play to score his 6th goal of the season. With just 6 minutes gone in the game, the Saints found themselves up 3-0. The scoring would continue as Jacob Rochford would bang home his 4th of the year. The Saints would dominate on the scoreboard, leading 4-0 and also 21-4 on the shot clock after the opening frame.

Both teams would go through the first ten minutes of the next period without a goal. The Saints would also get seven straight power plays before the Grizzlys would get their first one after the ten-minute mark. Brophy Dunne would then add to the Saints lead with a shorthanded goal for his 3rd of the season. Noah Hackett would then score five-hole to put the Grizzlys on the board just after the Dunne goal. Tijs Vreys would also score on the power play for Olds and the Saints would only lead 5-2 with two minutes to go in the 2nd period. Noah Hackett would then get his 2nd goal of the game with the same move, scoring five-hole as well. The Saints would enter the third period leading 5-3, hoping to stop the momentum that Olds had created. Spruce Grove would still lead in shots 32-20 after 40 minutes of play.

The third period saw Noah Hackett score on the power play with his 3rd goal of the game to cut the lead to 1. Caden Cabana would not let the Grizzlys tie the game, as he would score shorthanded to put the Saints up by two goals. Brophy Dunne would then get his 2nd snipe of the game, this time far side from the top of the circle. The Saints would go on to get their 4th win in a row, topping the Grizzlys 7-4 after 60 minutes. The shots ended at 46-27 in favour of the Spruce Grove Saints.
