(Spruce Grove, AB) – Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today forward Evan Sundar has signed a Letter of Intent for the upcoming 2022-2023 season.
Sundar spent last season with the St. Albert Raiders U18 AAA program, compiling 51 points (24 goals and 27 assists) through 43 combined regular season and playoff games. He scored his first career Alberta Junior Hockey League goal on December 14th, 2021, in a 7-4 win over the Whitecourt Wolverines.

General Manager Rob Sklaruk is thrilled to add Sundar to the roster for the upcoming 2022-2023 season, saying, “Evan was probably one of the best players in the Alberta Elite Hockey League this past year. He possesses unbelievable skill, which allows him to put up consistent numbers. Sundar is a highly competitive individual who sees the ice in a different way. He is a quick, strong skater that is powerful on his edges. We are very excited to see Evan develop his game further as a member of the Spruce Grove Saints.”
