Your home town Spruce Grove Saints opened the second round with a huge 3-1 win over Whitecourt on the road last night! Ryan McKinnon opened the scoring followed by a Logan Ganie tally. Veteran Jordan Thomas put the icing on the cake with a mark of his own in the second period.
Goaltender Brandon Wells made many key saves and was near perfect stopping 27 of 28 shots.
Game 2 goes tonight in Whitecourt with games 3 and 4 coming this Monday and Tuesday at the Grant Fuhr! Both game times 7 pm.
