The Spruce Grove Saints are proud once again to be part of the FCC – Drive Away Huinger Campaign.
Did you know that over 20,600 Alberta residents turn to food banks each month? That's more than the entire populations of Leduc and Fort Saskatchewan combined. The FCC Drive Away Hunger tours will take place the week of October 14.
The tour will be in Stony Plain on Thursday, October 17 with a tractor and trailer visiting area schools and businesses to collect food and cash donations for the local food bank.
This year’s Drive Away Hunger tour is a great opportunity to have a positive impact in the community that you serve and help fight hunger.
If you would like to get involved and become a food collection centre, FCC will pick it up on October 18 and deliver it to the local food bank. Or you can also make a cash contribution – please make cheques payable to the Parkland Food Bank
For the Saints home game on Saturday Oct 19th vs. the Okotoks Oilers, the Saints will be taking Food Bank Donations, which will be donated to the Parkland Food Bank through Farm Credit Canada.
Please come out to the game on Saturday, and help support families less fortunate than yourself.
