How does the old saying go… Things could be worse…well that especially holds true for a local family of 9, who lost everything this past Monday in a home fire. The one thing that can all be thankful for is that there was no one home at the time and all familiy members are safe.
With the giving season upon us the Saints are looking to raise funds, clothing and anything else for Ardron family who will be spending Christmas in a hotel, and not by choice. Along with any donations from our fans, the Saints will be donating our 50/50 Jackpot from the game to the Ardrons in their time of need.
Are you wondering how you can help the family? Here is some things that have been set up:
1) Financial Assistance: You can give in the following ways: – There is a GoFundMe account set up at:https://www.gofundme.com/unezvvxj
– You can give a tax receiptable donation through Spruce Grove Community Church by check/cash made out to SGCC (and let them know that this is for the Ardrons ) or donate online throughhttps://www.atbcares.com , Choose Spruce Grove Community Church as the Charity and in the checkout comments… type “Ardron Fire”.
2) Physical items donations: at this point the family is in too much of a state of shock to think about what all they are going to need.
If you have small item donations you can drop them off athttp://www.familyconnectioncentre.com located is 5600 50th st Stony Plain, Alberta.
