Saints Land Jacob Cossette For Upcoming Season

(Spruce Grove, AB) – Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today forward Jacob Cossette has signed a Letter of Intent for the upcoming 2022-2023 season.

The Air Ronge, Saskatchewan native spent last season with the Prince Albert Mintos U18 AAA program in the Saskatchewan AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL), where he compiled an impressive 79 points (26 goals, 53 assists) through 46 combined regular season and playoff games.

Standing at 6’0″ and weighing 194lbs, Cossette already has some junior hockey experience under his belt, appearing in one game this past season for the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).

General Manager Rob Sklaruk is elated to secure the high octane forward for the upcoming campaign, saying, ” I am extremely excited to land Jacob. He is a big body, who skates well and has the ability to put up consistent numbers. I look forward to seeing him continue his strong play at the next level with the Spruce Grove Saints.”
