Saints Fall 8-3 To Bandits

In a game where penalties proved to be the difference, the Saints ended their nine-game winning streak in an 8-3 loss to the Brooks Bandits.

The first period started with Dominic Campione scoring and putting the Bandits up by one. Ten minutes after Campione’s goal, the Saints got a penalty, and Hunter Wallace scored to increase the Bandits’ lead by two.

Brendan Poshak scored late in the frame, to end the second period at 4-1 for the Bandits.

Early into the third period, Hudson Malinoski scored on the powerplay to put the Bandits up by a score of 5-2. Five minutes after Malinoski’s goal, Alexander Babich (Chicago, IL) put one home on the powerplay to put the Saints within two. Soon after, Sam Court scored to again increase Brooks’ lead by three.
