Saints Fall 5-0 To Canucks To End Three Game Road Trip

The Spruce Grove Saints concluded their three-game road trip on a weary note, suffering a 5-0 defeat against the Calgary Canucks.

Early in the first period, Ty Hipkin broke the ice by scoring the opening goal, putting the Canucks ahead by one. Then, midway through the period, Gavin Garland found the back of the net, extending Calgary’s lead to 2-0.

The second period was marked by a flurry of penalties, during which the Canucks managed to score three goals, including one on the powerplay.

Remarkably, the final period saw even more penalty calls than the second. However, neither team conceded any further goals, and the Saints ultimately succumbed to a 5-0 loss to the Canucks.
