Saints Face Wenatchee Wild (BCHL) in Doyle Cup 7 Game Series

The Spruce Grove Saints, after winning the AJHL Inter Pipeline Cup, now face off against the Wenatchee Wild, winners of the BCHL Fred Page Cup, in a 7 game series starting in Wenatchee, Washington, Friday April 27, 2018. Depending on the outcome of the first 2 games in Wenatchee there will either be a third game in Wenatchee or the rest of the Series will shift to Spruce Grove. 

Possible schedule scenarios: If either team wins the first 2 games in Wenatchee and leads 2-0, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th games will be played in Spruce Grove.

The Doyle Cup was created in 1985 to be awarded to the winner of a 7 game series between the Alberta Junior Hockey League Champion and the Bristish Columbia Hockey League Champion. The Doyle Cup was last contested for in 2012 before the Western Canada Cup was formed and played out for 5 seasons. The Western Canada Cup was not renewed upon the completion of the 2016-2017 season. 

The Spruce Grove Saints competed in the Doyle Cup in 2010 and 2011 losing in game 7 both years to the eventual back to back RBC Cup Champions Vernon Vipers. 

Single Game tickets will go on sale ONLINE for Saints home games at noon on Sunday, April 29 on the Saints website. 

The Box Office (Located at the front doors of the Grant Fuhr Arena) will ONLY be open on game days at 12:30 pm each day. 

Saints Playoff Packages are still valid for all Saints home Doyle Cup games.
