Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today forward Graeme Bryks will be joining the club from the Victoria Royals of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
Bryks rejoins the Saints after spending the past three seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Victoria Royals. During his time in the WHL, Bryks recorded 20 points through 136 games played. Prior to the competing in the Western Hockey League, Bryks played his 16-year-old junior season with the Spruce Grove Saints in 2017-2018, where he scored 19 points in 31 games enroute to an Alberta Junior Hockey League Championship.
General Manager Sklaruk spoke about Graeme rejoining the club saying, “Graeme brings a ton of leadership into our organization both on and off the ice. He is a smooth skating power forward and is very deceptive with the puck. The Saints are excited to have a member of the 2018 championship team back as part of our group.”
The Saints would like to welcome Graeme and his family back to the organization.
The Spruce Grove Saints are on the road tonight in Drayton Valley, taking on the Thunder at 7:30pm. Fans can catch all the action on the Saints Radio Network (mixlr.com/sprucegrovesaints) starting at 7:15pm. The Saints road trip continues this weekend, with a Friday night matchup in Sherwood Park and a tilt in Olds on Saturday. Spruce Grove returns home on Friday, October 30th vs. the Drayton Valley Thunder.
