Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today two roster moves and a trade ahead of tonight’s home game vs. the Drayton Valley Thunder.
Second year goaltender Zac Onyskiw (Edmonton, AB) has been elevated to the active roster after recovering from an injury sustained in the pre-season.
In lieu of Onyskiw’s return, first year goaltender Tysen Smith (Prince George, BC) was released and will join the 100 Mile House Wranglers of the Kootenay International Hockey League (KIJHL).
Finally, first year forward, Decker Mujcin (Prince George, BC) was traded to the Grande Prairie Storm in exchange for a player development fee (PDF).
The Saints organization would like to thank both Tysen and Decker for their contributions this season and wish them good luck on their respective new teams.
