Saints Add Veteran Gengenbach From Kodiaks

SPRUCE GROVE, AB – The Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today the team had acquired the rights to 2000 born forward Colson Gengenbach from Camrose Kodiaks in exchange for a player development fee.

Gengenback, an Edmonton, AB native, comes to the Saints after a 3-year tenure with Camrose, compiling 18 goals, 26 assists and 44 pims in 105 regular season appearances with 1 goal, 3 assists and 2 pims in 13 AJHL playoff games.

GM Rob Sklaruk felt adding the veteran left shot forward was a no brainer.

?We have liked Colson?s game for quite some time now, when he became available, we jumped at the opportunity.? Stated Skalruk.  ?He?s a versatile player, in that he can play both center and wing up and down our line up. We expect he will inject some speed and tenacity to our group as well. Colson is a quality person and player that we are excited to see in a Saints uniform.?
