Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today the addition of five AEHL U18 (Alberta Elite Hockey League) players to the active roster for the 2021 season.
Forwards Caden Cabana and Liam Watkins, defensemen Kegan Law, Graeme Hampton and goaltender Levi Hall will all join the Saints for remainder of the current season.
With the U18 season being canceled it brought an opportunity for Sklaruk to bring in some younger players and the 4th year General Manager spoke about them.
“These players have an opportunity to make their mark on this league and with our team earlier than expected. This return to play scenario will be a good test to see where each player is at and allow them to work closely with our coaches and skills coaches on a day-to-day basis.”
Each player has completed their government of Alberta return to play requirements and have joined the team safely.
