Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today the acquisition of Brett Pfoh in a three-team trade between the Powell River Kings of the B.C Junior Hockey league (BCHL) and the Carleton Place Canadians of the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL).
Pfoh, a 2002 born forward from Port Moody, B.C., spent the 2019-2020 season, his rookie campaign, split between the Prince George Spruce Kings and Powell River Kings.
The 5’11″, 165-pound left shot notched six goals, three assists and 20 penalty minutes in 44 games split between the two BCHL clubs.
Pfoh is already committed to the Bowling Green University Falcons, where former Saints TJ Lloyd and Seth Fyten already play.
Saints Manager Sklaruk touched on Pfoh and the relationship built with the Bowling Green staff.
“Bowling Green has a been a great choice for our players and they too believe in our program. Having another Falcon commit amongst our group falls in line with the type of player we covet, so acquiring Brett was a no brainer. We believe there is a real solid player budding here and can’t wait to add him to our group.”
Pfoh will now enter the mandatory return to play protocols issued by the government of Alberta. He will join the Saints after completing his requirements safely and when that time allows.
The Saints would like to welcome Brett and the Pfoh family to the organization.
