Miller Signs Letter Of Intent With Saints

(Spruce Grove, AB) – Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today forward Keifer Miller has signed a Letter of Intent for the upcoming 2022-2023 season.

Miller, a member of the Edge School Prep which competes in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) has compiled 26 points through 21 games played this season.

Miller has also appeared in three games this season for the Spruce Grove Saints, scoring his first career Alberta Junior Hockey League goal this past weekend against the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

Keifer becomes the fourth Saint in the past four seasons to be recruited out of the Edge School, following Matt and Jayden Davis, as well as Sam Vincent.

General Manager Rob Sklaruk couldn’t be more thrilled to have Miller joining the Saints for next season saying, “Keifer is a great character player that has the ability to play all three zones very well. He has tremendous skating ability and an offensive scoring touch. Miller comes to us with a high hockey IQ and we are very excited to see him wear the blue and yellow next season.”

The Saints are back on home ice this coming weekend for a pair of games. Facing off against the Canmore Eagles on Saturday night at 7:00pm and the Calgary Canucks on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm.
