Tristan Martin has been selected as the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week. The goaltender from St Vincent, AB posted a perfect 3-0 record for the Saints.

Martin, 19, held the Bonnyville Pontiacs to a single goal as he turned away 30 of 31 shots from the third most offensive team in the AJHL on January 12th. He would allow just two goals against in wins versus the Blackfalds Bulldogs and Fort McMurray Oil Barons, who sit second behind the Saints in the Viterra AJHL North Division standings.

Since joining the Saints in early December, Martin is 9-2-0, with wins in his last eight consecutive starts.

The Saints lead the Viterra AJHL North Division standings with a record of 33-7-4.
