The second period contained even more action! Twenty seconds into the period, Bailey Ewonus scored for the Storm to give them life. One minute after Ewonus’ goal, Liam Watkins (Okotoks, AB) netted one home to restore the Saints’ five-goal lead. Then, with just seven seconds left in the period, Luigi Benincasa (Edmonton, AB) dangled through the defense and put one home to conclude the period with the Saints leading 7-1.
