3 Saints Chosen to Attend WJAC Selection Camp

Three Spruce Grove Saints have been chosen to attend the 2012 World Junior A Challenge selection camp. Corey Chorneyko, Mike Williamson, and Dylan Richard will all be heading to Calgary this coming weekend with the goal of being on the final roster of Team West for the World Junior A Challenge tournament in November.  Dylan Richard currently sits second in AJHL in scoring with 21 points in 17 games.  Chorneyko is in his 3rd season with the Saints and has earned a reputation of being a solid, reliable defenseman who makes the right decisions and limits his mistakes.  Mike Williamson turns heads with his mobility on the Saints back end.  Mike was chosen as the Saints' rookie of the year last season and has continued his strong play into this year earning an invite to the selection camp. The players will compete for a position next week and be notified whether or not they have made the roster November 1st.  The Saints are down South this weekend for a 3 game in 3 day weekend where they will lose the young men for the final game on Sunday.
